ISO 22000

ISO 22000 (The Food Safety Management System). On 1st September 2005, the ISO 22000 norm was issued – it has been a new International Standard aiming at food safety level increase, taking into consideration the entire supply chain.
The Food Safety Management System sets requirements for every organization participating in the food production and supply chain. The system introduces unified and globally harmonized standards of food safety and hygiene. The system combines distinctive features of both HACCP system and the ISO 9001 norm.
